En el barrio de Chamberí podeis encontrar Toma, una cafetería de estilo vintage y divertido.
Plantas, libros, objetos antiguos, colores... en fin, el rollo que más mola en este momento.
El local solo abrir las puertas por la mañana ya está lleno de gente, pero la sensación que hemos probado ha sido de una atmósfera especial y relajada.
In the neighborhood of Chamberí you can find Toma, a vintage and fun style cafe. Plants, books, old stuff, colors... the coolest way in nowadays. When the coffee shop opens the door in the morning become inmediately full of people, but we equally tried a special and relaxed atmosphere.
Indecisa en cual de las muchas tartas invitantes en exposición tomarme, al final, leyendo el menú, me di cuenta de que preparaban el Chia Pudding, y puedo decir que fue una buena elección!
Es algo que no se encuentra todavía en muchas cafeterías y es una verdadera lastima, siendo un pudding ligero, nutriente y sobretodo gustoso.
Pero no quiero salir del tema que más nos interesa, el café. Por la precisión en mi caso se trató de un Cappuccino perfectamente presentado y con un sabor inmemorable. La crema estaba perfecta y el sabor del café no estaba escondido por la leche.
Undecided on which of the many attractive cakes on display I would tried, at the end, reading the menu, I realized that they prepare Chia Pudding, and I can say that it was a good choice!
It is something that you cannot found yet in many coffee shops and is a real shame, it's light, nutritious and above all really tasty.
But I do not want to leave the interesting topic, coffee. In my case it was a perfectly presented Cappuccino with an unmemorable flavor. The cream was perfect and the taste of the coffee was not hidden by the milk.
El filtro que me tomé era un Batch Brew. No soy muy partidario de probar el café infusionado de esta forma, pero os tengo que decir que no me ha dejado indiferente. Se notaba el aroma y el sabor perfectamente. Acompañado de una tostada con mantequilla y mermelada, riquísima, completó el desayuno que nos tomamos en aquel lugar tan peculiar.
I tried a Batch Brew coffee. I'm not very fond of trying coffee infused in this way, but I have to say that I didn't disappreciate it. You could smell and taste perfectly. With a delicious butter and marmalade toast, it completed the breakfast we had in that peculiar place.
